Package Description

Day 1: Arrive Srinagar - City Sightseeing

Welcome to Srinagar, The Lake City. On arrival at the Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed & received by Global Trip holidays representative/driver. Once you board your vehicle, you will proceed to the houseboat. After check in, proceed to sightseeing of Srinagar. You will be visiting the world famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), Chashme Shahi Garden & Shankaracharya Temple. Later in the evening, proceed for a shikara ride in the Dal lake. Overnight stay in a Srinagar Houseboat.

Day 2: Srinagar – Excursion to Pahalgam (100 Km / Approx. 3½ Hour Drive - One Way)

After breakfast at hotel, leave for a day excursion to Pahalgam (2133 mts), also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds’ or ‘Trekker's Paradise’. Pahalgam is the most famous place for the Indian Film Industry. Enroute, you will visit the Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside and a lot of rice fields. Arrive at Pahalgam and depart for an excursion trip to Chandanwadi (on your own), the starting point of Amarnath Yatra & Betab Valley (on your own). Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betaab after the bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed, as a major part of the movie was shot here. Post lunch (on your own) or as time permits, proceed for a trip to Aru Valley (on your own) – Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam. Noted for its scenic meadows and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies on the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder River; all these activities will be conducted at your own expenses. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel. Note : In Pahalgam, outside vehicles are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxis can roam around within Pahalgam city. All outside vehicles will pick up & drop from the hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar – Excursion to Gulmarg (60 km / Approx 2-3 Hours Drive- One Way)

Post breakfast at the hotel, leave for a day excursion to Gulmarg. Driving past colorful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world, and also called a meadow of flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (world’s highest), and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports like skiing. But the most popular and exciting activity included in the tour package in Kashmir is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels, guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Srinagar Airport Drop

Begin the last day of your tour package for Kashmir with a delish breakfast in your hotel at Srinagar. Post breakfast, you will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport. Board your flight for the respective hub with memorable experiences of Global Trip Holidays. Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time.
